Goofy trucks that love to build things up, then smash 'em down!

This action-packed show was developed from a series of very simple children's books written by Jon Sciezka. It focuses on fun, physical play, and teamwork.

"Gearing" this CG-animated series for young kids meant keeping the energy high! Knowing that 4-7 year olds don't ever seem to stop moving, we chose to use a cartoony rubber-hose style, reminiscent of the old black and white Fleischer cartoons. For each eleven minute episode, extensive posing and energetic pacing needed to be balanced with clarity and warmth. In order to coordinate with a production team overseas, careful planning in leica reels (animatics) proved to be the key to success here.
